I was inspired by 60's colors, fonts, and movies to create this retro looking theme for a movie kit.
The exterior of this movie kit box is decorated with film strips as this is what most people think of with movie related decor. The stars were added as a throwback to 60's graphics as well. The colors on the front are all represented in the other packaging.
A movie kit would never be complete without popcorn. this bag was created with pops of traditional movie and popcorn themed colors with the added spice of overlapping colors and shapes.
The candy box for this project went though many iterations but I decided the organic gumdrop shape would add variety and whimsy to some of the other more geometric shapes that I had in the other products' packaging.
I decided to add a small sparking wine to this kit as I was thinking about how many people get together and have a drink while watching movies. The packaging was created with circles to resemble the bubbles in this sparkling drink
Socks were also thrown into this kit because nothing is better than being all cozied up while watching a good film. The packaging resembles a argyle pattern that appears on many sweaters or socks themselves.
