Inspired by collage artists like Frank Moth and The Daily Splice, this packaging was created with a collage of various parts of Native American stories about how maple syrup was discovered.

In this package, there are 3 different varieties of maple syrup each representing a different story described on the back of the bottle and portrayed with imagery on the front.

This first collage is inspired by how maple syrup could have been discovered simply by cutting a tree. The use of the waterfall pouring out where the tomahawk is, shows how the syrup would have leaked out. The flowers symbolize the sweet taste of the syrup.
This next collage symbolizes another story but this one is about how a tree quenched a woodpecker's thirst after the woodpecker saved the tree from bugs. The leaves in the woodpecker represents the tree and the sap from the woodpecker's mouth represent how it's thirst was quenched by the sap.

This final design was based on a story of a boy who was watching the squirrels in the trees breaking off twigs and licking the sap. The boy followed suit, discovering the sweet sap from the tree. This design portrays the squirrel with twigs in it's tail. The sugar once again represents the sweetness of the maple tree sap.
